Unconditional love for others

Poem to my unborn child

Home

A child myself, without a life
Still feeling like I'm being torn
Yet soon enough I'll have a wife
And see my unborn child get born.

A boy or girl, it matters not
A soul that I can call my own
The child within I'll have forgot'
The doubts of past no longer known.

To see this life before my eyes
To care, to hold and to provide
I'll see right through my lifelong lies
And know how many times I've lied.

To see this child before me grow
To hold it close and feel it near
By then I'm sure that I will know
It's all 'bout love, not about fear.

To give him everything he needs
Or make her every wish come true
All these will be my daily deeds
Don't mind to clean the pee and poo!

There is no wrong that you can do
I'll give to you the best of me
My unborn child, all this is true
Just wait a lil' and you'll see.
