Hello everyone! Today's topic is MONEY. Understanding what it is (and what it used to be) but more importantly, how to MAKE it. If you're making more money right now than you have places to store it, look away because you already know what I'm going to say. Otherwise, buckle up your seatbelt and enjoy the ride!
First off, I'm sure you've become aware of the fact that people are always going after money. It's always something that concerns them, even when things are going well. I can tell you, right now money is a big issue for me as well. But there's no need to fear, because I have the secret to making it. And by the time you're done reading this, you will too.
To know how to make money, you need to understand what money is. I'll tell you what money isn't to begin with. It's not something we can eat! Money is in fact nothing but pieces of paper or plastic with fancy pictures on them, or chunks of different metals made into different shapes. In a practical sense, money can be used to fuel a fire or to break someone's window from a distance
Just kidding. The ONLY thing that gives money the value it has is the institution put in place to regulate its flow.
But wait, where did that come from ? Good question! It's definitely worth taking a look at how money first came to be. Back in the day, when humans started to figure out that life wasn't about surviving but about thriving, they saw the necessity of having multiple sources of food for instance. It was highly impractical for every person to have a farm, that's just to simplify things. Some did, while others specialized in crafting tools for those farmers. Since they depended on each other for survival, a clever little thing called TRADE was born. You could have some tomatoes in exchange for an ax. Both parties walked away happy. And things were good. To make matters even better, they thought about having some objects that would represent a trade having occurred. So instead, you would trade your tomatoes not for an ax, but a shiny rock, which meant you were entitled to a reward for giving away the tomatoes. And with that rock you could go to the local fisher and trade it for some of his catch. That meant that you were no longer bound by doing deals with just one individual, but anyone in that particular community who recognized the VALUE of that shiny rock. Sounds like the beginning of what we now refer to as a market. Well, at least up until the point where the inherent flaw in the system was discovered and exploited... You see, in that community which was now using the shiny rocks as currency, some people saw the potential to establish a market that didn't deal with all the different products of that age, but with the shiny rocks themselves. Yes, the first BANKERS. They saw the value that was placed on those rocks which would otherwise perhaps only serve as jewelry. So, without going into details that are of no real concern, they found ways to manipulate the supply of shiny rocks, thereby controlling the market of goods and everyone in it. And they're still doing it today...
We're in the middle of an economic crisis right now. I'm sure you're all well aware of that and some of you may even carry some of its burden. Obviously, something went wrong on a global scale. Something did in fact go wrong. Along with money itself becoming a "product", its original value was all but forgotten. Since nowadays a person with a lot of money can simply use that to bring in even more money, without any contribution to society at all, individuals living in the lower classes have to robbed of theirs. The methods by which the banks achieve this are best described in the series of Zeitgeist documentaries. No need to get stuck on the methods though, but you do need to see the fact that by having the power to regulate money it is no longer relevant what products are being traded on the market. Money no longer has a direct association with those products as it used to have and the goal has become not to survive, but to make money.
You might say that this is the way a free market works, that money is the incentive we need to be productive. As long as the system would be honest, you would be right. But consider this: money is earned by solving someone's problems, but where does it say how the problems appear in the first place ? In fact, as you will see if you watch the documentary I recommended, "problems" can and have been artificially created for profit to occur. Starting with magazines that tell you how to dress and ending with pharmaceutical companies that support the existence of diseases that can be treated with the medicine produced by them. After all, in the current economy, finding a cure for those diseases would spell major unemployment for the people involved in treating them. Knowing that, can you even blame them for those practices ? Our very existence has become dependant on having money - one way or another - and people have become subject to blind obedience, or else. Remember the bullies back in school ? It's the same thing all over again, just on a global scale.
Some of these things you may have already known. But I'm sure that what got you reading this far was the secret that I promised you at the beginning. So let's leave the current circumstances aside and see exactly what our options are.
First of all, you need to decide if you want to be part of the monetary system that someone ELSE has put in place. I'm not trying to convince you that it would be a bad choice to make, but you should be aware that you would be playing by the rules of that system. However good you would be at bending them, someone other than yourself would always have the final say about your place within that system. They've been doing it for generations and are far ahead of the game. I will present the alternative here, leaving the final choice up to you.
Get ready to forget the economic crisis and focus on the basic human needs. While money has become the ruler of us all, it is essentially powerless. Because at the end of the day, with or without money, all we need is a place to shield us from the weather, food to eat and water to drink and affection from those around us. As human beings, we all have the same basic needs, even the people on top calling all the shots. This is where our story began, with needs that had to be fulfilled. Nothing has changed since then. We're still humans and we still have those needs. Now, when looking to satisfy someone's needs, there are two ways to do it wrong and one way to do it right. Put as plainly as possible, you could either NOT give them what they need, give them what they DON'T need, or give them EXACTLY what they need. I don't have to tell you which is which, common sense will do that. Only by giving people what they need or want, can you expect them to return the favor and give you what it is that you want. Money aside, this is how it works.
So what great secret do I have for making money, in times like these ? The secret requires you to "forget" about the times we live in and remember that which is timeless. Google has a list of ten things that sum up their core philosophy. The number one item on the list is also the secret that I am trying to give you: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." That's it. It's all about giving people what they need and only that. Then you can count on human nature for a reward to come your way, regardless of tough economic times, regardless of anything else. Despite some people trying to corrupt the rules of trade, the rules of humanity can never be denied. What worked in the past still works now and will always work. If you have needs of your own that are not met, look no further than what you can do to meet the needs of other people. Don't assume that this is a big deal, it's in fact nothing more than common sense. The better you will be at identifying and solving the problems that people have, the higher your reward will be. And regardless of the issues we are all facing, you will be invulnerable to them. You will do the one thing that allows you to circumvent your current condition. Don't expect anyone else to take care of you, take matters into your own hands. They were never anywhere else to begin with. Make it impossible for people not to like you, don't protest against those who do you harm as that will not solve anything but create even more harm for you. Let love lead the way and I promise you, nothing bad will happen to you ever again. It's entirely up to you, if you choose to walk this path, there will be no one to stop you. The choice is yours.
Thank you for reading this and know that once you make the transition from EXPECTING to GIVING, your chains will come off!
Please forward this to anyone having difficulties with money in their life. Thank you!
Here for you,
Gabriel
